How to get here

From Pitlochry:

We are 12 miles east of Pitlochry

Go into the middle of Pitlochry, and drive up the hill opposite W.H. Smith bookshop, onto the A924 'Kirkmichael Road'

From Blairgowrie:

We 12 miles west of Blaigowrie.

  • Turn left onto the A93, where the Ford Dealer is.
  • At Bridge of Cally, turn left off the A93 and onto the A924.

From Breamar:

  • Take the A93 from Braemar towards Blairgowrie.
  • Between Blacklunans and Milton, turn right onto the B950 to Kirkmichael.
  • At the junction, turn right onto the A924 for the short distance to the village of Kirkmichael.

When In Kirkmichael:

  • Turn off the A924, onto the bridge (by the shop),over the river.
  • Keep to the tarmac road all the way.
  • Past the school on the right.
  • Sharp left turn.
  • Past old church building on left, and drive straight on, past the houses.
  • You will now be able to see Curran House straight ahead at about 500 metres distance.
  • Open field on right, and left.
  • Past small cemetary on left.
  • At junction, on the corner, you will find Curran House.
